ResponsibilitiesDesign and sell cabinetry projectsCultivate relationships to achieve high customer satisfaction and achieve sales goal setTake on multiple design projects at once from various project managers and Cape Associates clients Take projects from schematic design to permit level and construction documentsDesign work will range from millwork fabrication drawings to moderately sized residential renovations. Individual is responsible for all necessary field measurements and accuracy of suchCommunicate with engineers, interior designers, town officials, Cape Associates Wood Shop employees, vendors, subcontractors, and any other people involved in the design projectsHomeowner direct interactionManagement of multiple kitchen/bath projects simultaneously throughout the yearSales goal for first 12 months is set upon hiring and is anticipated to grow annually. Requirements: Must have a minimum of three years' experience within kitchen and bath design.Previous experience selling Mouser and Wood Harbor products. Must have experience estimating projects. Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.Ability to thrive in an energetic and fast paced environment.Positive attitude, willingness to work independently or as a team.Passion and appreciation for residential design field.Willingness to learn, detail orientated, self-motivated, organized.High level of customer service and client relations.Must be proficient in 20/20.Must be experienced in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.Must be proficient with virtual and/or in-person meetings.Physical Requirements:This is largely a sitting role, however, some standing and movement is required. Walking, and inspecting jobsites as needed, and occasionally access eaves, attics, and crawlspaces, to collect the necessary as-built information. This includes the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend/stand, as necessary.
