AJS is developing additional, complementary businesses to serve all audiences.Role OverviewThe Operations Manager supports the overall efficiency and readiness of the flagship boutique. This role ensures that all daily operational functions run seamlessly while upholding the brand's standards of excellence in a luxury retail environment. Responsibilities include managing inventory, supporting the Flagship Director in leading the sales and support teams, assisting customers with orders, and ensuring a consistently exceptional client experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic setting where precision, discretion, and adaptability are essential. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage complex workflows while contributing to a best-in-class client and team environment. Key ResponsibilitiesBoutique OperationsOversee all daily operational functions including inventory, ticketing memos, stock movement, repairs, and loss prevention. Manage store compliance, daily counts, cash handling, bank deposits, and supply management to ensure operational accuracy and boutique readiness. Maintain accurate reporting for inventory and financial procedures in partnership with accounting. Own operational platforms such as Calendly and liaise with IT, facilities, and vendors for store support. Sales Floor LeadershipSupport the Flagship Director in leading daily floor operations, motivating the team, and delivering a seamless client experience. Act as a floor leader, engaging with clients and supporting associates to drive sales and elevate service. Reinforce daily goals, selling strategies, and storytelling moments to ensure consistent team performance. Partner in coaching team members and fostering a positive, high-performance store culture. Team & Client SupportAssist in scheduling, coverage planning, and associate oversight to ensure smooth day-to-day execution. Provide hands-on support during busy periods, high-value client appointments, and boutique events. Ensure client-facing materials, promotions, and GWP assets are allocated and executed correctly. Always model service excellence and client engagement. Cross-Functional PartnershipCollaborate with corporate teams in accounting, merchandising, logistics, and marketing. Contribute operational and client insights to help refine boutique performance and brand presentation. Support event execution, logistics, and follow-up efforts. Qualifications3+ years of experience in retail operations or store management, ideally within a luxury or high-service environment. Experience in the jewelry industry, particularly lab-grown diamonds, is highly desirable. Strong track record of team leadership, sales growth, and client development in a high-end retail environment. Proven ability to manage inventory, compliance, reporting, and store systems with precision. Strong leadership and people management abilities, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Exceptional sales skills with a deep understanding of customer service and relationship building. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to engage customers and inspire the team. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, able to manage both the operational aspects of the store and the development of the sales team. Skilled in using POS, CRM, scheduling, and inventory management systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail point-of-sale systems. Benefits:Competitive Salary ($80,000 - $85,000)Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k)Paid Time OffGrown Brilliance is an equal-opportunity employer.
