Johnson has the experience to manage projects from small renovations to large-scale additions and new construction.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Project Manager at R.D. Johnson Construction, Inc. The Construction Project Manager oversees the entire construction project from start to finish, managing preconstruction, construction, and post-construction phases. This position requires a strong ability to plan, execute, and complete projects while collaborating with internal teams, trade partners, and owners.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Oversight: Manage all aspects of the project, including budgeting, scheduling, permits, and contracts. Ensure timely completion, adherence to safety standards, and client satisfaction.Communication: Effectively communicate with the project team, owners, trade partners, and authorities. Written and oral communication skills are essential.Technology Skills: Proficient in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office. Must be able to use devices like laptops, iPads, and iPhones.Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction methods, building codes, and project management processes. Experience with cost codes, budgeting, and handling Prime Contracts.Contract Management: Negotiate and manage Prime Contracts, ensuring all requirements are met. Handle Change Orders and project accounting.Permitting & Risk Management: Ensure permits are obtained and closed out properly.
