Job Title: Operations Support SpecialistLocation: Los Angeles/Orange County, CA | Onsite at various project sitesSchedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PMCompensation: $55,000 - $60,000 annuallyJob Summary:The Operations Support Specialist reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and plays a key role in the success of active construction projects. This on-site position ensures efficient operations, accurate documentation, and effective coordination with clients, vendors, and tradespeople. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a hands-on environment, taking initiative to anticipate project needs and keep work on track with the company's commitment to excellence. This position also offers growth opportunities into project management and leadership roles within the organization.Key Responsibilities:Act as the on-site point of contact for the COO, overseeing daily project activities and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.Document project progress through detailed status reports, photos, and schedule updates to maintain transparency and accountability.Monitor project milestones and schedules, proactively identifying risks and coordinating solutions to keep projects on time and within budget.Serve as a key liaison between the COO, clients, vendors, and tradespeople to align expectations and deliverables.Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.Prepare and distribute concise, high-quality project reports for internal leadership and clients.Support compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.Provide operational and administrative support to the COO, directly impacting project success and company reputation.QualificationsRequired:2+ years of experience in construction, project coordination, or operational support (or equivalent transferable skills from related industries).Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, tradespeople, and leadership.Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore, MS Project, Excel, or similar platforms (experience with Bluebeam or AutoCAD a plus).Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to anticipate and address project needs before they arise.Comfortable working on active construction sites, adapting to dynamic job site conditions, and collaborating with diverse teams.Preferred:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Bi-lingual (Spanish/English).
