Key Responsibilities:Support the management of a comprehensive Customs & Excise program and relevant deliverables. Accountable for import and excise compliance for both US and Canada for finished goods, bulk goods, raw materials, and other commodities. Facilitate day-to-day activities by ensuring timely execution of reporting and other requirements in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Primarily support the implementation of new US import strategies; must have knowledge of US customs import laws and procedures. Establish excellent working relationships with a variety of stakeholders while working independently to take decisive actions as necessary. Key Outputs: Generate reports and analyze relevant data and outputs. Collect, review, organize documentation. Support establishment of best practices ensuring ways of working are well documented. Benchmark internally; listen to user input to enable efficient compliant deliverables. Skills & Experience Strong organizational skills Attention to detail; self-starter Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel: pivot tables, vlookups) Knowledge of SAP; experience with Global Trade Management (GTM) software is a plus Undergraduate degree preferred; strong analytical skills required Licensed Customs Broker or relevant experience, preferred Management Responsibility This role is responsible for building collaborative relationships with internal team and third-party customs brokers. The role has no direct reports.
