For further information about Orchestra BioMed, please visit and follow us on Job Summary The primary responsibility of the Field Clinical Specialist is to build significant relationships with clinical site team members, partner with key clinical operations and FCE team members during the life cycle of clinical research trial.Role and Responsibilities - Including but not limited to: Develop relationships with clinical and administrative hospital personnel through conversation, meetings, and participation in conferences to make new contacts and identify key decision makers to facilitate future patient enrollment. Educate and train site research staff on the clinical protocol and scientific rationale for company products.Work with site personnel to identify, assess, and execute best practices and innovative approaches to patient identification and screening.Supports site initiation visitsAchieve regional enrollment goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Attend clinical cases and/or study follow-up visits as needed to ensure proper data collection and adherence to protocol.Participate in case reviews and clinical observation by working with investigators, site CRAs, and other supporting personnel.Act as Orchestra BioMed field contact to ensure study related issues at assigned sites are well documented and resolved in a timely manner.Coordinate educational activities between Orchestra BioMed leadership and investigational site personnel, as requested.Remain educated on current guidelines, treatments, and other clinical trials for hypertension and other indications, as applicable.This position is a field-based role with the expectation for extensive (up to 80%) travel.Other tasks may be assigned based on skillset and business needs.Qualifications - Knowledge & Skills:Minimum bachelor's degree in science, engineering, health care or equivalent related experience, with medical training strongly preferredExperience and/or knowledge of the management of the clinical research processes for active CRM implantable or interventional medical device trials with 2+ years of experience in cardiology trials strongly preferredExperience in clinical research, life sciences, nursing, medical engineering, or similar experience. Strong interpersonal skills as well as a willingness to work within a team-oriented environment. Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with attention to detail.Experience working in a clinical setting including in an operating roomExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent listening skills.Must be willing to travel (up to 80%)Proven ability to develop strong relationships with clinical facilities as well as other internal and external partners. Medical device sales and/or clinical education experience preferredPrevious cardiovascular experience preferredA current US work authorization is required.
