Our client is a reputable, leading, local General Contractor with a heavy focus on multifamily and commercial construction projects. They are actively seeking multiple construction PM's to support their growth in the local marketStrong pipeline in Miami - Midrise and Highrise ConstructionMid-Size GC with room to grow and learnAreas of expertise include: ground-up mid-rise multifamily projectsThe Assistant Project Manager will assist the project team and have overall responsibility for the success of assigned project(s) with a focus on budgeting, planning, scheduling, quality, and relationship with owners and subcontractorsSelect Responsibilities:Work with project team to ensure timely completion and accuracy of project information and targetsOrganize and participate in project meetings with staff, owners, architects, and trade partnersPrepare contracts and change orders in a timely fashionPrepare and communicate monthly variance cost/budget reports to the management teamProvide oversight for all phases of construction, including safety, staffing, and ensuring contract documents are being followed and work is on schedule and within budgetFoster strong partnership with owner to help the firm continue building on their 80% repeat business with current clientsProduce and assist in close-out documentationCANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or other relevant disciplineMinimum of three years' experience in the education, and commercial construction industriesSuccessfully managed multiple projects to completion with values ranging from $5M-$100MAbility to organize, analyze, and problem solve challenges when they occur on assigned projectsEffective communication and ability to build/foster strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholdersJob Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) 4% Match401(k) matchingCell phone reimbursementDental insuranceFuel cardHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveRetirement planVision insuranceCompensation Package:Base payBenefitsVehicle and cell phone allowanceBonus opportunitiesWork Location: In person
