Our client is seeking an experienced Site Services - Inventory Coordinator to work at their company in Cedar Rapids, IA.Position Summary: In this role, you will report to the Site Supervisor and will work closely with the Lab and Production Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science. The Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Walk frequently across large facilities/warehouse and extended periods of standing while supporting onsite operations.Oversee inventory management tasks involving consumables, chemicals, and samples, ensuring precise inventory control. Manage requests, enabling inventory movement on and off-site, and fulfill customer metric reporting needs.Supervise slow-moving and inactive inventory, conduct cycle counts, annual physical inventories, and provide related reports.Handle purchasing functions encompassing back-order reporting, order entry, expediting, direct factory shipments, 3rd party support, quote management, document control, record maintenance, and resolution of open invoices and pricing issues.Coordinates shipping activities, including handling customer material, managing routine issues, operating warehouse equipment, inputting shipping details into computer systems, and conducting equipment inspections.Manages hazardous materials, prepares shipping documentation, and meets packaging requirements.Analyzes generated data to provide sample metric updates and enhance inventory accuracy.Documents and investigates quality events related to manufacturing operations to conduct thorough root-cause analysis, determine corrective action plans, assess product impact, and facilitate remediation.Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma or GED requiredExperience: 2 years in customer service, inventory replenishment, or material handling experience within a warehouse or laboratoryCollaboration Tool: Microsoft Teams experience preferredPrevious experience working in a GMP facility is desiredAbility to self-manage and self-motivate, forward-thinkingPrioritize tasks and meet deadlinesExcellent Customer Service Skills: displays a professional can-do attitudeIdeal for individuals who prefer active roles and do not enjoy sitting for long periods.Be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with varying physical demands.Must be able to carry up to 25lbs.Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, and Office) experience preferredAdaptability when it comes to your responsibilities
