Location: Tampa, FLSalary Range: Up to $115,000 (based on experience)Schedule: HybridWe are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our team and contribute to the conceptual design, development, and execution of innovative interior environments. This role requires a balance of creativity, technical expertise, and strong organizational skills to deliver projects that are both aesthetically compelling and aligned with client goals, budgets, and functional needs.ResponsibilitiesInterpret, organize, and execute the conceptual design of projects, ensuring creativity, foresight, and sound judgment throughout.Lead programming efforts including space planning, layouts, and utilization of furnishings, equipment, lighting, and color coordination.Develop innovative design concepts that are practical, safe, and aligned with client vision and budget.Coordinate and present color and material palettes.Select and specify furniture, lighting, flooring, wall coverings, and artwork; prepare material estimates and preliminary cost projections.Incorporate integrated sustainable design solutions into all projects.Render conceptual design ideas and prepare 2D/3D presentation drawings.Prepare and conduct client presentations with clarity and professionalism.Prepare, correct, and update documents during schematic design and design development phases.Solicit bids and assist Project Managers and clients in subcontracting fabrication, installation, and arrangement of materials, finishes, and furnishings.Ensure project or project phase remains on schedule and within scope.Coordinate with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to ensure design requirements are fully incorporated.Support construction administration by responding to RFIs and COs, and reviewing shop drawings.Implement and adhere to firm standards across all projects and processes.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff; participate in performance evaluations and recruiting when appropriate.Foster a collaborative, client-focused, and sustainable work environment.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field (or foreign equivalent).4-7+ years of professional experience working on commercial interiors projects.Strong design sensibility, with the ability to translate concepts into functional and compelling spaces.Proficiency in design software and presentation tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a collaborative team setting.Commitment to sustainable design practices and fostering a green workplace.For immediate consideration, upon applying please forward your resume and portfolio directly to mdonnally@.
