Intermediate Architect/Job Captain

Kenneth Park Architects, a top-ranked award-winning national architecture firm with a wide range of commercial and mixed-use clients, is currently seeking an Intermediate Architect/Job Captain with 5+ years of experience to join our team on-site in our Los Angeles office full-time.Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 annuallyResponsibilitiesLead the production of design and construction documents for high-end retail projects nationwideEnsure all deliverables meet client standards and comply with applicable building codesManage multiple projects and client accounts simultaneouslyMaintain strong communication with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractorsConduct architectural site surveys and generate detailed reports (travel required)Manage and coordinate a wide variety of consultants including MEP, Structural, lighting and landscapeOccasionally lead interior design decisions to achieve appropriate solutions that involve material specifications, interior design, furniture and lighting.Participate in construction administrationQualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture5-10 years of post-graduate experience working in US architectural firmExperience with retail store documentation, roll outs and tenant coordinationStrong technical knowledge and ability to develop construction detailsProficiency in: AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp (a plus)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong time management and problem-solving abilitiesLegal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipWillingness to travel nationallyWe provide a competitive salary and a generous benefits package that includes medical insurance and 401k pension plan.
