Interior Designer

Risepointe ()is a fast-growing architecture and design firm that specializes in helping churches, schools and non-profits develop beautiful and missional places of community and worship. We have staff in Seattle, Denver and Chicago. Our 'typical' client is a relevant, community centered ministry that needs more/better space to match who they are. Every project is unique and we have the awesome responsibility of carrying the project from conceptual sketches, all the way to construction. Our small team is tight, we have a lot of fun, work hard and are flexible to family and recreational time. The Interior Architect will be part of the architecture and design studio, providing design deliverables from concept through design and construction. Broadly this will include commercial interior design, visualization and documentation through modeling, drawing and presentation as well as a willingness to learn and have a working knowledge of material trends, commercial finishes and project requirements. As a critical part of the Risepointe design team this roll will require strong communication and collaboration skill in order to seamlessly fold a coordinated interior design package into the overall project scope. QUALIFICATIONS:Fulfill the duties required of Risepointe staff as outlinedBe a person of character in all aspects of professional and personal lifeBachelors degree in interior design, interior architecture or building related discipline.2+ years of commercial/institutional interior architecture experience Interior Design license is not required, but pursuit of licensure is highly encouragedKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSStrong technical capabilities to manage numerous projects at the same time from start to completion.Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCad, Adobe CS, Sketchup,Strong 3-D modeling and visualization experienceWorking knowledge of construction drawing standards. Sketching: conceptual designs, elevations and perspectives. The ability to quickly convey an idea through drawing.In-Person Presentation Skills.SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible to assist in all phases of projects - from inception to completionTrack and communicate issues and risks to project parametersUse of design and documentation tools to effectively communicate project details Collaborate on multiple projects simultaneously. Develop concept design and final design package as defined by project contractSite visits including travel to ensure project parameters and quality. Work with church leadership and other project stakeholders to understand project requirementsFacilitate discussions with internal departments to define scope of workOn-Time Delivery of Design MilestonesCoordination with project architects and engineersLeading interior design only projects from start to finish
