It's your chance to build a business within a business, in a company where you're not just an employee, you're an owner from day one.Why You'll Want This Job:High Compensation: Base salary $150,000 - $200,000 + 20% bonus, 3% 401(k) contribution, equity through ESOP, generous PTO, hybrid flexibility, and robust healthcare benefits.The Team is in Place, You Scale It: You'll inherit a hungry, high-performing team across engineering, safety, and field services, and your job is to guide them through the next stage of growth.Own It: Join a 100% ESOP company and build long-term equity while leading one of the fastest-growing divisions.Tight-Knit Culture in a Stable, Growing Company: 400+ employees with a headquarters in the low-cost, family-friendly community of Cedar Rapids, IA.Your Focus:You'll serve as the operational and executive leader for a 20-person division that delivers a range of specialized services, including Arc Flash Studies and Compliance Services, Electrical Safety Training in accordance with NFPA 70E, Engineering and Design, as well as Field Services and Data Collection.Your mission:Develop and implement the growth strategy for the service linesInspire a team of experts that is currently 10 engineers, 6-7 field techs, 3 trainers, and 2 arc flash specialistsOversee P&L, budgeting, and forecastingBuild cross-functional alignment between design, training, and field operationsRepresent the business to key clients, leadership, and stakeholdersRequirements:10+ years of leadership experience in engineering, construction, or industrial servicesA proven ability to lead a business unit, develop people, and drive performanceAn executive-level presence with the ability to build trust across teams and clientsA working knowledge, or willingness to quickly learn, about Arc Flash compliance, NFPA 70E standards, electrical safety, and design engineeringA passion for leading others, driving strategic growth, and making a long-term impactBonus if you have:An engineering degree or PE license in electrical engineeringExperience in industrial manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with BIM and 3D modeling toolsBusiness development or systems integration backgroundLocation Requirement:This position is based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
