Specializing in Wood-Frame garden styles and concrete mid-rises, they are looking for an experienced estimator in Tampa to work on their pipeline.What's on Offer:Competitive base salaryVehicle and cell phone allowancesBonus programComprehensive health benefits and 401kPTOAbout the Company:Largest GC in Tampa seeking a seasoned Estimator with multifamily experience.Billion dollar pipelineEstimator Job Description:The Estimator will be responsible for developing detailed cost estimates including experience with conceptual estimating for both negotiated and hard bids as well as overseeing an estimating team.Join the largest developer in the South Florida marketEstimator Responsibilities:Participate in the preparation of conceptual cost models, budgets and feasibility models based on historical cost data and/or subcontractor input as appropriateIdentify and report problems or deficiencies to the Project ManagerAnalyze project program, design, costs, and subcontractor input; provide comparisons, cost-saving, and value engineering optionsPrepare cost analysis by recapitulating material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and overhead costs occurred in heavy civil industry projectsMust have the ability to explain details behind each estimate, including the basis of the man-hours allocated for each task, personnel resources needed to execute each task, etc.Provide estimating review support to the development teamPrepare project cost estimates from the client's RFQ documents and drawings and any other information learned during the pre-bid showingMaintain lines of communications between company departments, project manager, and client with regards to cost estimating activitiesEstimator Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Business preferred7+ years' experience as an Estimator within Commercial ConstructionProven record of success on large and/or complex projectsProficient with relevant construction technology; Procore experienceJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $140,000.00 - $200,000.00 per yearBenefits401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: In person
