Join a team where your expertise will make a tangible impact on iconic structures and critical infrastructure.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple concurrent projects from inception through completion. This role combines technical engineering expertise with client relationship management and team leadership. You'll work directly with clients, mentor junior engineers, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key Highlights:Lead multiple moderate-sized projects simultaneouslyDirect client interface and relationship managementMentor and develop junior engineering talentHybrid work environment with flexibilityOpportunity for professional growth and industry involvement encouragedWhat You'll DoProject LeadershipDevelop comprehensive project scopes, budgets, and schedulesExecute strategic plans for successful project completionLead project meetings and deliver client presentationsServe as primary point of contact for assigned clientsCoordinate cross-functional project teamsTechnical ResponsibilitiesPerform engineering analysis and design using both manual calculations and specialized softwareDevelop construction documents using AutoCAD and RevitCreate detailed project specifications and technical reportsConduct field investigations and condition assessmentsPerform site visits to monitor construction progress and write field reportsBusiness Development & LeadershipWrite proposals and pursue new business opportunitiesRepresent JBCI at industry associations and professional eventsLead project teams of junior engineersReview and approve work prepared by junior team membersParticipate in onboarding and training of new engineersWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institutionExperience: 6+ years of relevant structural engineering experienceCertifications: Professional Engineering (PE) LicensePreferred QualificationsExperience in building restoration, faí§ade work, or forensic engineeringActive involvement in relevant industry associations (ASCE, SEI, etc.)Additional engineering management courseworkEssential Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Proficiency: AutoCAD, Revit, structural analysis software (We use RISA-3D, RISACalc, Hilti PROFIS, ForteWEB, and SkyCIV.
