Technical Design Manager

Naked Wardrobe is seeking a highly skilled Technical Design Mananger to lead our dynamic Technical Design team. As the Technical Design Manager, you will oversee all aspects of technical design to ensure accuracy of product measurements, quality, construction, and fit.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of technical design across all categories for all garment components, including fit, fabric, construction, stitch, and trimStrong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and ability to render and communicate all construction and detail pages to accurately reflect design intentionManage and grow a team of technical designers and pattern makers in a collaborative environmentMeasure garments accurately to identify any fit issues and execute fit comments efficiently to remain on schedule with production, to ensure product accuracy and maintain delivery deadlinesSchedule all fittings with Design and PD and own fit calendarDevelop appropriate systems for fitting development and production styles to stay on calendarProvide grading guidelines to vendors after fit approval to ensure quality consistency and collaborate with internal and external partnersApprove samples for production after a thorough evaluation of fit, measurement, pattern shaping, hanger appeal, and functionalityParticipate during Design hand-off meeting and provide a strong solutions based perspectiveQualifications:10+ years of related professional experience7+ years of supervisory experience in a fashion company settingProficient Computer Drawing skills for technical and construction detail sketches & related art using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe PhotoshopProficient computer skills with emphasis on MS Office software & PLM SystemsExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong leadership skills to lead a team to successPositive team playerStrong knowledge in patternmaking is a mustKnowledge of 3D CLO is preferred
