Additionally, we operate two garden centers open to the public.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Payroll Specialist located in Salem, WI. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll, managing payroll deductions, administering garnishments, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations. Day-to-day tasks include handling payroll administration and services, maintaining accurate payroll records, and addressing payroll-related inquiries from employees. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with sensitive information.QualificationsExperience in Payroll Administration and Payroll ServicesKnowledge of union wages, prevailing wages & certified payrollKnowledge of Payroll Taxes and GarnishmentsSkilled in Payroll Processing Daily analyzation of time entries & jobs along with updating entries into the B2E automated payroll systemStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyUnderstanding of payroll software and systemsStrong communication skills, both written and verbal
