AutoNation is seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager, Strategic Projects to drive enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and partnerships. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the VP of Strategy & Growth, working hand-in-hand with senior leadership to incubate, launch, and scale initiatives that define the future of auto retail.The ideal candidate is an experienced program manager with a proven ability to deliver complex cross-functional projects end-to-end, from scoping and implementation through scaling, performance optimization, and steady-state transition.This is an opportunity to operate at the top management agenda, shaping innovations across technology, operations, partnerships, and customer experience. Prior AutoNation strategic projects have included launching a nationwide tech-enabled insurance offering, enabling customer pay rentals, optimizing performance on a 10,000-vehicle fleet, and introducing new digital e-commerce solutions.Job Description:ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership: Lead strategic projects from concept to launch, ensuring clear scope, milestones, and accountability.Cross-Functional Execution: Partner with Technology, Legal, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and field teams to align priorities, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure seamless execution.Partnership Implementation: Manage the rollout of key external partnerships, ensuring business terms are operationalized across AutoNation's footprint.Performance & P&L Ownership: Monitor initiative performance, identify improvement levers, and own business results.
