Analytic Operations Manager

Growing distribution company is adding more vendor retail accounts. We are seeking an analytics manager to work with the VP of Operations and Director of Warehouse.8am-5pm onsite everyday / M-F (no nights & no weekends) Competitive salary. US college degree. Experience working with retail accounts in distribution is a plus. Strong with excel and paying attention to detail to extract information from vendor reportsSpecific Projects:analyze chargebacks for UPS & FedEx to find cost savingsanalyze ways to ship domestically within the US to find cost savingsanalyze process to get orders in and shipped out the door to ship fasterutilize ways to extract reports from current ERP to improve teams' performancepull reports to show KPI's for employeesKey duties and responsibilities for this role include:Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and qualityIdentifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data setsAcquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systemsCoordinating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and gather requirementsWorking with management to prioritize business and information needsOverseeing the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operationsPerforming data profiling to identify and understand anomaliesCreating predictive models and machine-learning algorithmsMonitoring analytics and metrics resultsImplementing new data analysis methodologiesCreating, automating, and maintaining dashboards and reportsEnsuring data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for analytics employees to follow
