Production Supervisor

POSITION SCOPE: The Production Supervisor will work closely with the Sr Manager of Fulfillment and Operations Manager to oversee all operational aspects of the distribution center, ensuring efficient product flow, accurate order fulfillment, and timely delivery by managing staff, optimizing processes, maintaining inventory levels, and upholding safety standards within the distribution facility, all while aiming to maximize productivity and cost-effectiveness. RESPONSIBLITIES:Staff Management:Hire, train, and supervise production associates including receivers, pickers, replenishment, and inventory control associates. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback to ensure productivity targets are met. Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching. Operational Oversight:Plan and schedule daily production operations, including receiving, replenishment and picking.Monitor inventory levels and manage stock rotation to prevent shortages. Implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce errors. Coordinate with Jewelers to ensure daily workload is executed in timely manner.Quality Control:Verify accuracy of incoming shipments and outgoing orders. Conduct cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. Identify and address quality issues to maintain product integrity. Safety and Compliance:Enforce safety regulations and procedures within the distribution center. Conduct safety training and inspections to prevent accidents. Ensure compliance with all applicable distribution center regulations. Performance Metrics:Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, accuracy, and on-time delivery. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Report on operational performance to management.
