Our culture is fast-paced, innovative, agile, and offers every team member the opportunity to drive a big impact.We are seeking an AdvancedTopical Delivery Principal Scientist to lead innovation and development of advanced skin and hair delivery systems. This individual will drive strategy and execution of topical formulation and delivery technologies - including but not limited to encapsulation systems (e.g., liposomes, polymersomes, nanoemulsions), microneedle arrays, and patch-based delivery platforms to maximize the effectiveness, bioavailability, and sensory profile of our novel active ingredients.You are a scientific expert with deep hands-on experience across diverse topical delivery systems. You thrive in interdisciplinary teams, can independently drive complex programs from concept to prototype, and bring strategic vision alongside scientific rigor. This is a key role with direct impact on multiple R&D and commercial pipelines across ODDITY's consumer-facing brands.WHAT YOU WILL DOLead the development, optimization, and characterization of advanced topical delivery systems (including encapsulated actives, microneedling devices, dissolvable microneedles, and transdermal patches)Evaluate and select delivery technologies based on target product profiles, skin/hair penetration requirements, and consumer preferences.Drive innovation in formulation strategies to enhance stability, penetration, controlled release, and sensory attributes.Collaborate cross-functionally with chemistry, biology, product, and clinical testing teams to ensure delivery systems align with active properties and intended use.Design and interpret in-vitro and ex-vivo assays to assess penetration, retention, release kinetics, and efficacy of delivery systems.Manage internal and external partners, including CROs and technology vendors, for advanced delivery development and scale-up.Stay abreast of new delivery technologies, materials, and regulatory trends, and assess their potential for ODDITY's product lines.Contribute to IP strategy and support patent filings for novel delivery technologies.WHO YOU AREPh.D. or M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field7+ years of industry experience in topical/transdermal delivery, formulation, or drug delivery developmentProven expertise in encapsulation (e.g., lipid- or polymer-based), microneedling systems, patch technologies, or related delivery platformsExperience with skin biology, in-vitro/ex-vivo models, and performance characterizationDeep understanding of material selection, formulation scale-up, and delivery-system manufacturing processesFamiliarity with regulatory considerations for cosmetic and/or drug-based delivery systemsStrong project management and communication skills; ability to work in cross-functional teamsCreative, execution-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentWHAT WE OFFERCompetitive compensation and benefits package.This position will consider and sponsor candidates on a visa (OPT, STEM OPT, H1B, TN).This position is in-office in our Cambridge, Massachusetts office and laboratory.The salary for this position is negotiable and commensurate with experience.Note: We're currently hiring for many roles!
