Electrical Project Manager - Data Center Construction

Position: Electrical Project Manager - Hyperscale Data CentersLocation: Iowa Company: Top 10 Electrical ContractorA nationally ranked electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, high-volume hyperscale data center builds in Iowa. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, including planning, budgeting, procurement, and field coordination.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all phases of electrical scope from preconstruction through commissioningManage budgets, schedules, procurement, and contract administrationCoordinate with field leadership, GCs, trades, and clients to drive project executionLead submittals, RFIs, change orders, and cost controlsEnsure code compliance, QA/QC standards, and client specifications are metSupport BIM coordination, equipment logistics, and installation planningConduct regular site visits, progress meetings, and reportingWork closely with internal teams to forecast labor, material, and risk exposureRequired Skills & Experience:7-10+ years of electrical construction project management experienceTrack record of managing large-scale infrastructure or data center projects ($50M+)Strong understanding of electrical systems, code, and mission-critical infrastructureProficiency with project management tools (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)Skilled in budgeting, change management, and client communicationPreferred Qualifications:Experience with hyperscale clients or high-density MEP coordinationDegree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldOSHA 30 and PMP or other certifications a plusWillingness to travel or rotate on-site in Iowa during peak project phases
