Field Technician

Akkodis is seeking a Field Technician for a 12 Months contract position with a client located in Louisville, KY. Ideally looking for applicants with a strong working knowledge or experience with HP Indigo as press operator or field technician. Familiarity with remote diagnostic tools, knowledge management systems, and case management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) comes as a plus.Job Title : Field TechnicianLocation: Louisville, KYDuration : 12 MonthsPay Range: $25/hr on W2 - $27.73/hr on W2 (without benefits) ,the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location and other factors.This is a Field Service position with daily travel in the greater Louisville, KY area as regular part of the daily work week. Overnight stays may be required on short notice in KY or OH. Planned travel out of the area may be required several times a year.Extensive travel for training (8+ weeks in the 1st year), periodic travel for training for 1 – 3 weeks at a time in following years.Knowledge and expertise on HP-Indigo digital presses technology preferred.Minimum Vocational/Diploma / Associate Degree (technical field with 3+ years field service experience)Handle Customer-relation problems promptly and appropriately, provide guidance, escalate issues according to established proceduresProvide mechanical and electrical support on-siteElectro Mechanical troubleshooting,Customer facing communication, Internal communicationDeliver services to large enterprise, complex or corporate accountsUse proactive monitoring procedures/tools to identify problem prevention opportunitiesExperience with support of full range of HP commercial and industrial large mass volume digital printers productsKnowledge/Skills:Strong mechanical technical and communication kills and ability to improviseStrong Customer relationship skills & ability to manage complex Customer problems.Good teamwork with peers and HP personnelDemonstrate consistent, acceptable performanceSchedule and participate in on-site account support meetings both internal and external.If you are interested in this Field Technician – 12 Months Contract position with a client located in Louisville, KY then please click APPLY NOW.
