Our client's global team is committed to delivering an unparalleled blend of cutting-edge technologies, convenient procurement options, and pharmaceutical services under their industry-leading brands.Summary:This role is responsible for the receipt, inventory, storage, and shipping of clinical agents or biological specimens to various clinical sites and laboratories. Materials are stored at temperatures ranging from ambient to -196°C, some with potentially hazardous properties. The position requires use of database applications, adherence to precautionary procedures, independent decision-making, and effective communication.Note: May be required to travel to Rockville or Germantown MD sites, at most 25%Responsibilities Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and accurately process items for storage and/or shipment in line with established procedures and customer requirements.Maintain high quality standards to ensure customers receive accurate products within the required timeframe.Assist in receiving biological specimens, chemical compounds, clinical agents, and/or investigational products.Verify accuracy of materials received, including quality, type, and quantity, and ensure proper documentation is present.Weigh dry chemical compounds and aliquot liquid biological samples or products.Perform general documentation management (generate, review, archive, or destroy records).Work in warehouse environments at varying temperatures from ambient to -196°C.Ensure compliance with cGMP parts 210 and 211, company quality systems, and FDA requirements.Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements consistently.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities High school diploma or equivalent.Proven ability to follow policies, procedures, and schedules consistently and independently.Basic computer literacy, including ability to use inventory systems, Microsoft Office, and shipping software.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.Ability to recognize deviations from accepted practices.Reliability in attendance and punctuality.Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs. regularly, and occasionally kneel, crouch, or crawl.Flexibility to work varying schedules, hours, overtime, and travel between local sites as needed.Desired Skills & ExperienceCertified Pharmacy Technician credential.Experience in data entry, shipping/receiving, or sample management.Knowledge of Universal Precautions, general laboratory procedures, and quality assurance/control.Experience with cGMP environments (CFR parts 210 and 211).Familiarity with handling hazardous or infectious agents and working in cold storage environments (including liquid nitrogen and dry ice).TekWissen Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.
