At Kerns, we don't just sell jewelry"”we set the standard for excellence, integrity, and lasting relationships.We are seeking an experienced and highly capable IT & Facilities Manager to oversee technology systems and facilities operations across our Burlingame and San Francisco locations.Job Purpose / SummaryThe IT & Facilities Manager is responsible for managing all technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, retail systems, and facilities operations across three luxury retail locations. This role ensures that IT systems are secure, reliable, and efficient, while also maintaining physical spaces that meet the highest standards of a premier luxury brand. The IT & Facilities Manager will oversee vendors, implement best practices, and provide hands-on support to ensure seamless operations and an elevated client experience.Key Responsibilities / AccountabilitiesInformation TechnologyOversee and maintain IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and hardware across all locations.Manage POS, CRM, inventory management, and security systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols, data protection, and compliance with privacy regulations.Serve as the primary liaison with IT vendors, consultants, and service providers.Provide hands-on troubleshooting and training for staff on IT systems and security practices.Research and implement new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and client experience.Facilities ManagementManage daily facilities operations in Burlingame and San Francisco boutiques, ensuring luxury standards.Oversee maintenance, repairs, and upgrades for HVAC, lighting, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.Coordinate with contractors, property managers, and facilities vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective services.Ensure compliance with safety, accessibility, and security regulations.Support store renovations, fit-outs, and special projects, coordinating with leadership and external partners.Leadership & OperationsDevelop and manage annual IT and facilities budgets.Establish best practices and processes for IT support, system security, and facilities management.Collaborate with executive leadership and store managers to align operations with business objectives.Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, facilities procedures, and vendor contracts.Qualifications & Required SkillsMinimum 5+ years of IT and/or facilities management experience, preferably in luxury retail, hospitality, or high-security environments.Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity.Experience managing POS/CRM systems and multi-site technology operations.Proven ability to manage vendor contracts, budgets, and multiple facilities.Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.High level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.CompetenciesTechnical Expertise: Strong IT and facilities management capabilities.Operational Excellence: Commitment to maintaining seamless systems and luxury-standard facilities.Leadership & Accountability: Ability to manage vendors and influence cross-functional teams.Adaptability: Skilled at handling urgent needs and unexpected challenges.Luxury Brand Awareness: Understanding of client expectations in a high-end retail environment.Reporting StructureReports directly to the Co-CEO's.
