Product Developer / Production Manager

GMPC is looking for an experienced accessories product manager.We are a leading Private label design and manufacturing company delivering goods globally for many of the top brands and retailers. Our main products are headwear, bags and cold weather.We are looking to fill a position in our Petaluma office. You will also work with sales, art and production departments from our offices in NY, LA and Shanghai.DutiesFollow product from design to shipment.Oversee sampling and production orders.Daily factory communicationsMaintain production calendars and negotiate costingColor managementCustomer serviceCreate and Maintain tech pack files.Manage photo samples.Call out changes in fit and fabric.QualificationsDegree in design or related field or relevant work experienceMinimum of 3 years Product Development and/or Production experienceProficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator requiredProficiency in MS Office suiteExperience with ERP platformsMust be knowledgeable in factory negotiation, sourcing and quality controlKnowledge of sustainability practices / certifications a major plusStrong written and verbal communicationExperience working with overseas contractorsKnowledge of sustainable textiles and standards a plusHYBRID work environment in PetalumaSalary commensurate with experience.
