About the roleThis exciting opportunity is full-time, onsite and will report to and work alongside the Project Manager and will assist with (but not limited to) proposals, budgets, schedules, and production. Additionally, the Assistant Project Manager will collaborate with team members and interact externally with clients, subcontractors, and material suppliers. Daily tasks include coordinating project timelines and resolving any issues that may arise during the fabrication process. The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager with all fabrication activities from "start-up through completion". Position Responsibilities:Reproduce and distribute fabrication drawings and engineering specificationsProvide support with project management including coordination of delivery dates and production requirementsIssue and organize RFI'sCoordinate material procurement including management of bill of materials and bill of operations for each production jobOther job-related duties as assignedFollow all company and local work rules, safety rules and policies. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field, or equivalent experience required2+ years' experience in Construction Project CoordinationAbility to break down complex problems, analyze data, and identify key information to develop logical solutionsStrong Communication skillsExcellent organizational and problem-solving abilitiesHighly organized and detail-orientedTeam player with a positive attitudeFlexible and able to prioritize deadline-driven projectsDesire to grow and open to feedbackReliable and committed Compensation and Benefits:Compensation dependent on level of experience Healthcare/Dental insuranceVacationPaid Holidays
