Key duties include conducting safety inspections and training, managing maintenance budgets and projects, enforcing health and safety regulations, responding to incidents, and ensuring the long-term functionality and security of the facility. ResponsibilitiesFacility Operations and MaintenanceSafety ComplianceProject and Budget ManagementReporting and DocumentationConduct regular safety audits and inspections of the Distribution facility to identify potential hazards.Develop and implement safety training programs for employees, focusing on best practices and compliance with safety regulations.Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and compliance activities.Education and TrainingPost secondary Education 3-5 years related position experience3 - 5 years experience in facilities management2 - 3 years experience in safety managementFacility Management Professional (FMP) required, Certified Facility Manager (CFM) PreferredBuilding Infrastructure certifications in related technical field preferred (HVAC, Plumbing, Office Equipment, Project management)Knowledge of safety concepts, practices, procedures specifically as they relate to OSHA General Industry standards in a Distribution/Sales facility
