POSITION SUMMARY The Tessitura Database & Analytics Manager is a key member of the Marketing and Development Departments that provides essential support for all Dallas Theater Center departments in their use of Tessitura. This position supports DTC's in-house Box Office, Marketing Department, Development Department and Finance Department in their collection, use and analysis of customer data. The focus for the Tessitura Manager is to work with various administrative teams to provide and update information necessary to run all aspects of the Marketing, Box Office and Development departments. The ideal candidate will use Tessitura to analyze and report on all sales and donor data, will manage all system setup for both box office, season ticket, single ticket, and online donations and sales, and will maintain database integrity and provides constituent data for the purposes of research, marketing, and donor cultivation. Working with all administrative departments, the Tessitura Database Manager is responsible for overseeing the training of all internal DTC Tessitura users and keeps the organization and users up to date on all new features and upgrades of the Tessitura software and network. Previous experience with Tessitura network required. The position offers potential to be fully remote for the right candidate. KEY RELATIONSHIPS • Director of Marketing, Sales, & Communications • Director of Development • Director of Public Works • Marketing Manager • Social Media & Content Manager • Box Office Manager • Senior Box Office Representatives • Box Office Representatives • Director of Finance & Operations • Marketing & Development Teams • AT&T Performing Arts Center/Tessitura Consortium Staff ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Setup Tessitura - season subscription planning, package setup, rollover - single ticket performances, pricing, MOS, promotion codes and TNEW setup • Work with all internal departments to create and maintain sales and availability reports on a daily/weekly/needed basis. • Work with Marketing Department to maintain dynamic pricing report and implement changes in Tessitura • Assist Development department with lists, reporting, system updates and functionality • Anticipate and meet needs of both Marketing and Development departments • Support fundraising activities for the organization including memberships, major gifts and online fundraising. • Manage data requests (lists, research, reports) for all departments • Serve as representative Power User for the Tessitura Advisory Committee • Work with Finance department on Annual Audit and Development department on all requested data • Stay current with new software updates and testing • Represent Dallas Theater Center at the annual Tessitura Learning Conference and the DFW TUG annual conference (when possible) • Work with Marketing, Artistic, and Production departments on annual season sales budgets and calendars - maintain season calendar. • Perform work in a manner that is consistent with DTC's Mission, Vision, and Values. • Be an active participant in DTC's work towards equity, diversity and inclusion and becoming an anti-racist organization. • Other duties as needed or assigned. An appreciator of theater and an advocate for its value for the community; EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Bachelor's degree in marketing, theater or related field, or equivalent relevant experience (minimum 5-10 years experience ticketing/setup) • 5-7 years experience in Tessitura/TNEW setup and operations
