Master Parachute RiggerLocation: Roswell, GA (onsite with some travel)About Earthly Dynamics Corporation:Earthly Dynamics Corporation (EDC) is a fast-growing aerospace R&D company in Roswell, Georgia, developing next-generation autonomous control technologies for unmanned aircraft and guided-airdrop systems.Position Summary:We are seeking a Master Parachute Rigger with deep experience in military airdrop systems to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the rigging, inspection, repair, and certification of parachutes and associated aerial delivery equipment, while also contributing to prototype development, flight testing, and new system design. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience working with Army or Air Force airdrop programs, and a demonstrated ability to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance in demanding operational environments.Responsibilities:Pack, rig, inspect, and maintain military-grade parachutes, cargo airdrop systems, and related equipment (JPADS, T-11, G-11, etc.).Serve as the subject-matter expert on rigging procedures, airworthiness, and safety standards.Collaborate with engineers on prototype development and integration of new guided and autonomous parachute systems.Support flight test campaigns, including pre-flight preparation, rigging, and post-flight equipment assessment.Provide technical training and mentoring to engineering and operations staff on rigging practices.Maintain meticulous records of inspections, repairs, and packing logs in accordance with FAA and DoD regulations.Interface with military customers and partners during demonstrations, evaluations, and system acceptance.Required Qualifications:FAA Certified Senior or Master Parachute Rigger (back, chest, seat, and/or cargo type rating).5+ years of experience in military airdrop rigging, preferably with U.S. Army Aerial Delivery & Field Services or Air Force Aerial Port.Demonstrated expertise with personnel and cargo parachute systems, including static line and freefall configurations.Familiarity with JPADS and other guided/cargo delivery systems.Strong attention to detail, documentation, and safety compliance.Ability to lift and handle parachute and rigging equipment (up to 80 lbs).U.S. Citizen, able to obtain a DoD security clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Prior service in Army 92R (Parachute Rigger MOS) or equivalent Air Force/Navy airdrop roles.Experience with engineering/R&D organizations developing new aerial delivery technologies.Knowledge of textile repair, sewing machines, and canopy modification techniques.Familiarity with FAA AC 65-5 and DoD airdrop rigging manuals (FM 4-20.102, AFMAN 24-204, etc.).Previous involvement in test campaigns or developmental programs for new parachute systems.What We Offer:Competitive salary + performance bonusComprehensive health (medical, dental, vision) insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous PTO and holiday scheduleProfessional development stipend and continual learning environmentHow to Apply:Email your resume and a brief cover letter to recruiter@ with the subject line "Master Parachute Rigger."
