We are expanding our team with a self-motivated and dedicated Administrative Assistant and Facility Administrator to assist with our expansion. Job Title: Administrative Assistant and Facility AdministratorLocation: Houston, TX On-site Full-timeObjectives of this role:· Serve as the eyes and ears of the office, support smooth daily operation of an organized and efficient office and laboratory environment · Oversee the maintenance, operations, and safety of the building, ensuring compliance with regulations and managing the facility's physical environment and resourcesKey Responsibilities:· Responsible for the upkeep of the building (HVAC, landscape, general cleaning, lab gas supplies, etc.) including working with vendors for maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects · Manage office and laboratory supplies, order supplies and coordinate with deliveries timely and cost-effectively· Provide administrative support to the team, including sourcing and ordering marketing materials, logistics for trade shows, assisting with expense reports, etc. · Maintain filing system, employee documents, contact lists, business insurance, etc.· Manage office and building budget · Responsible for compliance with various regulations including selecting business insurance, etc. · Organize company events such as Lunch & Learn, team building, welcome lunch etc.; employee gifts, etc. · General administrative support to managers and the teamPreferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, business administration, or related field; Master's degree such as MBA is a plus. Minimum of 2 years of working experience in related field Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong time-management skills and multitasking abilityStrong office software skills with Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.Normal Office Hours: ~8:30am to ~5:30pmwith a lunch break Please send your resume and cover letter to: hr@
