Our 45,000 sq ft shop in the Brooklyn Navy Yard features CNC Routing, Water Jet cutting, metalwork, carpentry, and painting facilities, among other capabilities. We have an in-house graphics and printing department and integrated lighting specialists. With a team of over 25 full-time craftsmen, we can handle the largest jobs with flexibility and quick turnarounds.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a Shop Foreman, located on-site in Brooklyn, NY. The Shop Foreman will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of the shop, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Key tasks include overseeing heavy equipment use, coordinating carpentry and maintenance tasks, and maintaining clear communication with the team to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.QualificationsSupervisory Skills and Communication skillsProficiency in the use of Heavy EquipmentCarpentry and Maintenance skillsExcellent leadership and organizational skillsAbility to work on-site in Brooklyn, NYExperience in event production or set building is a plusTechnical certification or a degree in a related field is preferred
