Reports to: Supervisor, Division OrdersResponsible for administrative and technical support to the Division Order and Revenue teams. This role assists with owner relations, document management, and system updates to help ensure accurate and timely revenue distribution. This role is a great entry point into oil and gas Division Orders and offers opportunities to grow into an analyst positions over time.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with owner relations, responding to basic inquiries and directing more complex questions to analysts.Perform document scanning, storage, and electronic filing for Division Order and Revenue records.Support owner setup and maintenance in company systems.Process pay code changes as assigned. Provide revenue owner assistance, including ACH setup and validation.Maintain accurate and organized records to support timely revenue distribution.Collaborate with Division Order and Revenue teams on administrative tasks as needed.Knowledge & Skills:Strong data entry accuracy.Ability to handle high volumes of paperwork and electronic records.Customer service mindset for handling royalty owner calls/emails.Ability to quickly learn and adapt to industry-specific software and systemsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Strong organizational and time management skills.Effective communication and customer service skills.Experience and EducationHigh school diploma required, associate's or bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Business, or related field preferred.1-3 years of experience in administrative support and accounting; Oil & Gas Division Order or Land experience preferred. AEC offers a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, employer paid life and disability insurance coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, and wellness support.The starting rate for this position is expected to be between $70,000 - $80,000, based on experience, qualifications, and internal pay alignment. Final compensation may vary from this range depending on a variety of factors, including a candidate's education, skills, prior experience, and evolving market conditions.
