Our company is looking to scale its operations and is currently looking for a sharp, deadline-oriented professional. LoDuca is a newly certified WBE general contractor. Absolute pre-requisite (to be considered for LIRR projects): Must have minimum 10 years' experience in managing large complex engineering and design projects, and 5 years' experience in public works contracting including heavy civil construction in a transportation environment; and 5 year's experience in Design-Bid-Build construction projects.Job Description:The PM will have overall responsibility for the management of public, commercial, and residential construction projects. Reporting directly to the President and the Vice President of Operations, the PM will manage the entire life cycle of the construction project and will be responsible for all stages of the project.Roles and Responsibilities:Create and manage all necessary schedules for the projectCreate and manage action plans for critical path items, long lead items, and all tasks associated with the schedule.Verify quality control before fabrication or construction, during construction, and at close outConduct site checks to ensure job progress and quality controlManage team of SuperintendentsManage all purchase ordersManage financial records and project budget-Identify cost-effective methodsManage subs and/or in-house crewKeep all stakeholders aware of job progressEnsure all deadlines are metEnsure data is organized and collated for future analysis, using the company project management software, as well as maintaining digital files.Contribute to the overall development of the company's brand and carry out any necessary dutiesQualifications:BSc/BA degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, ConstructionManagement, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of experience as a construction project managerOSHA 10 certification or higherExcellent time management skillsExcellent planning ability6..
