Job description:NOTE: This job is located in Yerington, NVThis position will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the geothermal power plants. Geothermal energy experience a plus, however, excellent work ethic, reliability, integrity, and willingness to learn are essential.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsMonitor equipment by measure, record, and adjust accordingly to plant-operating criteriaPerform daily maintenance such as greasing and aligning motors, repairing, and replacing sensors, gauges, relays, etc.Used prescribed plant operating procedures to conduct efficient and effective plant uptime while maximizing plant outputAssist in the maintenance and construction-related activities in and around the plantPerform regular upkeep of maintenance and housekeeping in the shop /office facilities and power plant groundsCollaborates with the team to develop and implement maintenance and quality assuranceConducts all work with "Safety" emphasis and a priority of all individuals onsite, and the safety of company resourcesPerforms general construction knowledge on the property (welding, plumbing, electrical, framing, etc.)Operates rolling equipmentMonitors and handles chemicals for the prevention of pipeline corrosionMaintains daily logs and reports as requiredWork overtime, weekends, holidays, etc. as required to complete the job necessaryResponsible for immediate reporting of all accidents and incidentsOther duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:Ability to operate service truck, backhoe, forklift, or manlift on regular basisStrong mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of chemistry, physics, electricity, and mathematics.Ability to work at our various plants on occasion as neededKnowledge of and compliance with all OHSA safety procedures and protocolAbility to work as a team and share knowledgeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPossess a valid state driver's licenseAbility to pass pre-employment drug testing, and random tests during employmentEducation and Experience:Minimum High School diploma or equivalentPreferred Education and Experience:General maintenance knowledgePhysical Requirements:Requires heavy exertion in forms of pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying heavy objects constantlyAbility to climb, work at elevated platforms, ladders, and walkways frequentlyRequires ability to work from high elevations and over platforms consistentlyAbility to stand for long periods of time consistentlyAbility to stoop, bend or kneel frequentlyAbility to work in all weather conditions up to 70% of time outdoors, year-roundAbility to lift up to 50lbs consistentlyMust be able to traverse all areas of construction sites and/or Power PlantMust be able to travel to various locationsMust be able to operate a company vehicle with a valid driver's licenseJob Type: Full-timeSchedule: M-F, 6am-3pm, rotating weekends.Work Location: In person
