```html About the CompanyOur client is seeking an experienced Tech 3 / Foreman to lead our special projects team in San Antonio, Texas. This role requires in-depth knowledge of TXMUTCD and TxDOT standards, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in reading and interpreting project plans. The ideal candidate will oversee crews, operate equipment, and ensure projects are completed efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.About the RoleThis position involves leading and managing sign installation crews on job sites, ensuring compliance with TXMUTCD and TxDOT specifications.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage sign installation crews on job sites, ensuring compliance with TXMUTCD and TxDOT specifications.Read and interpret project plans, and work orders to ensure accurate sign placement.Operate and oversee the use of heavy machinery, including boom trucks, augers, skid steers, and post drivers.Track and document materials used on each job, ensuring accurate inventory and reporting.Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and inspectors to ensure smooth project execution.Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations, traffic control procedures, and company policies.Train and mentor team members in proper installation techniques, equipment operation, and job site safety.Conduct quality control inspections to verify proper sign installation and compliance with regulations.Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and tools used on the job.Ensure proper traffic control is maintained throughout the project.Qualifications3+ years of experience in sign installation, construction, or a related field.Extensive knowledge of TXMUTCD and TxDOT sign installation standards.Ability to read and interpret plans, schematics, and work orders.Experience operating boom trucks, augers, forklifts, skid steers, and other construction machinery.Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and train crews.Proficiency in tracking job materials and maintaining accurate records.Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.Valid Texas driver's license (CDL preferred but not required).Flexible with schedule and training.Required SkillsStrong leadership skills, proficiency in reading and interpreting project plans, and experience with heavy machinery.Preferred SkillsExperience in training and mentoring team members.
