JOB DESCRIPTION: Administrative AssistantJENDOCO CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION, a Commercial General Contractor in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Full-Time Administrative Assistant for work at our office in the East End of Pittsburgh.Typical duties include, but are not limited to:• Working with project managers in the timely creation, management, and distribution of physical and electronic documents such as:-Subcontractor agreements-Material submittals-Requests for Information-Project Meeting Minutes-Equipment requests-Project Reporting-Closeout Documents• Vendor/Subcontractor interaction and communication• Coordination with Accounting• Collection and logging receipt of subcontractor paperwork:-Insurance certificates-Certified payroll-Minority reporting-Waivers-Steel certification-LEED submission paperwork• Associated administration such as:-Answering phones-Sorting mail-Filing-Data entry-Copy/scanning-Scheduling/Coordinating Meetings• Assisting company Safety Director with Administrative duties.-Coordinating accident/workers compensation claimsSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working as an administrative assistant in the construction industry.• Must have own transportation.• Ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, professional in appearance, punctual, customer-oriented, excellent writing and verbal communication, organized, close attention to detail, manage multiple tasks, time-management and problem-solving skills and will maintain client and company confidentiality.• Intrapersonal skills are essential, as are the abilities to collaborate and work within a project team.• Computer skills including Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)-Helpful but not required: ProjectSight, Bluebeam, Procore, Viewpoint/Spectrum• Experience with the following office machines: printer, copier, scanner, fax machine, postage machine, large format plotter (not necessary, but helpful).• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and comply with all local, State and company pandemic policies.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:• Salary will be commensurate with experience and knowledge.• Benefits offered include vacation, paid time off, health insurance, and 401K/Profit Sharing.• Flexible working hours.
