This is more than a job; it's a chance to make a meaningful difference every day.Location: On site at our closed-door pharmacy (14700 Helm Ct, Plymouth, MI 48170)Salary: $23/hour + $1000 Sign On Bonus!Schedule: Monday - Friday, rotating weekendsShifts:1st shift: 10:00 AM - 7:30 PM to 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (+ $0.50 per hour)What We OfferClosed-door Pharmacy - No more face-to-face meetings with customersGuaranteed full-time hoursComprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance (as low as $13.73/pay)Paid Time OffFree Virtual Care – TelemedicineFlexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts401k with company matchClosed-door Pharmacy - No more face-to-face meetings with customersReferral BonusesLife Insurance, Pet Insurance, Legal InsuranceMake a difference in the lives of others!We are growing and that means more opportunitiesKey ResponsibilitiesAs an IV Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the IV Manager with the day-to-day operational needs of the Infusion department, adhering to the company's quality and customer service standards, policies and procedures, state and federal guidelines.Filling of IV orders to include, but, not limited to, mixing of IV medications, mathematically calculate doses, apply all sterile techniques as applicable to the job.Sending supplies and equipment to facilitiesMaintaining all IV mixing records.Performing regular cleaning and maintenance check on all equipmentProgramming of all infusion pumpsData entry of all applicable I.V. ordersResponsible for the ordering of supplies from various vendorsPerform other tasks as requiredPerform technician assignments as requested by the pharmacy management.Maintain all IV pharmacy related equipment and supplies in the equipment rental log.Actively contributes to the evaluation and continuous improvement of client services, policies and procedures.Assists with ensuring safety policy and procedures are practiced and adhered.Participates in special projects to identify and implement operational improvements.Ability to work with others in a positive productive manner anticipates and responds to the positions areas of responsibilities.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredCurrent registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Trainee with the MI State Board of Pharmacy required (must be in good standing)Skills & AbilitiesMinimum of six (6) months of hospital or home infusion pharmacy experience with emphasis on compounding/aseptic technique required, and good working knowledge of compounding sterile products according to USP 797 standards.Strong computer skillsThorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledgeMath and analytical skills, with a focus on calculationsClarest is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
