Pattern Maker & PP Technical DesignerJob DescriptionCreate and edit patterns in paper and Optitex under PPM supervisionGrade and digitize patterns under PPM supervisionPrint and distribute patterns to contractorsDigitize patterns by using Adobe IllustratorManage, track, and keep up to date the extensive pattern registry and libraries to assure accuracy in sampling/productionCrosscheck patterns with specs to increase tech pack measurement accuracySew samples in house to test pattern accuracyWork closely with the designer, PPM, and PPAM in the sample development processWork closely with the PPM and QC team in the production construction/pattern issue resolution processEnter Sample and Production QC measurements into PLM systemEnter Sample measurements, notes, and feedback into PP testfit chartGenerate sample testfit charts for designer's testfitPost twice-weekly testfit feedback in Slack respective channelsTag PPM and PPAM in related postsWork With PLM System (backbone)Generate Tech Packs for contractorsMaintain/Update processes and procedures.Collaborate with cross functional partners.Testfit samples and production in respective size to quickly identify construction/fabric issues.Step in and perform other duties as required.Requirements:4+ years of working at a fashion company2+ years of industry womenswear patternmaker experience using Optitex, Gerber, and/or Clo 3D working for a commercial company preferably in swimwear and lingerieWorking knowledge of patternmaking rules and principles for commercial productionWorking knowledge of PLM software experienceWorking knowledge of Tech Pack experience and lingoExcellent basic computer/internet/Ai skillsOrganized self starter and team playerProficient in English languagePreferred experience and skills;Working Clo 3D software experienceSpanish LanguageBenefits:Medical InsurancePaid vacation,sick, and holidaysFree merchandise seasonally + generous employee discountPhone stipendPotential 1 work from home daySmall IRA matchothers
