SolidWorks Drafting Associate

SolidWorks Drafting Associate H&H is looking for a full-time SolidWorks Drafter to join our growing team. This professional will work directly with the COO and Engineering Manager in the office and with the crew on the manufacturing floor to create, design and problem solve. The highest industry standards from traditional St. Louis' craftsmen will always be the H&H way.Job Responsibilities • Create accurate CAD drawings from hand sketches, verbal instructions, and customer-provided models• Systematically archive drawings and documentation on CAD server• Updating project folders and files as jobs progress and maintaining proper revision control• Develop and modify standard models for repeated parts• Professionally communicate with customers• Assist and support other departments with various projects and tasks• Communicate with plant personnel on manufacturing capabilities and best practicesRequired Qualifications· Outstanding fluency and skill within the SolidWorks program· Minimum 1-year experience in a technical drafting rolePreferred Skills· AutoCAD fluency· RADAN experience or familiarity with other nesting software· Experience in CAD/CAM, or CNC programming for laser cutting or similar· 3D Scanning, surface modeling (i.e. Blender) experience or familiarity· Degree or professional certificate in manufacturing or related fieldAn ideal candidate• Has a laser focus and strong attention to detail and quality• Enjoys a fast-paced environment• Employs excellent communication skills• Rolls up their sleeves and gets the work done, as we're a small team used to everyone pitching in• Loves a workshop; familiarity with metal working or similar hands-on hobbies and activitiesBenefits Include• Medical• Dental• Vision• PTO• 401k w/ employer matchFull benefits offered with this position; compensation commensurate with experience.
