Electrical Superintendent - Data Center Construction

Position: Electrical Superintendent - Hyperscale Data CenterLocation: Indianapolis, IN (On-Site)Company: Top 25 General ContractorA top-tier general contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee the electrical scope on a multi-year hyperscale data center project in Indianapolis. This is a mission-critical role responsible for leading field execution of complex power and low-voltage systems in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage on-site electrical construction from rough-in to commissioningSupervise subcontractors, foremen, and field crews to ensure safety, quality, and productivityCoordinate installation of MV/LV power systems, UPS, generators, grounding, and structured cablingEnsure compliance with NEC, project specs, and hyperscale client standardsCollaborate with MEP coordinators, commissioning agents, and project managementMonitor progress, conduct inspections, and maintain accurate field documentationSupport commissioning efforts, startup, and final turnoverRequired Skills & Experience:8-10+ years of electrical construction experience, with at least 3-5 years in data centers or mission-critical environmentsProven ability to lead large field crews on high-value, high-complexity projectsStrong understanding of critical power systems, grounding, testing, and QA/QC protocolsSkilled in coordinating with general trades, engineering teams, and safety personnelProficient with Procore, Bluebeam, and project scheduling toolsPreferred Qualifications:Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferredOSHA 30 certification requiredExperience with hyperscale clients such as AWS, Meta, Google, or MicrosoftAble to work on-site in Indianapolis full-time for the duration of the project
