The Manager of Project Management will oversee the project management team and customers in daily rental project schedules, as well as job costing, project evaluations, and weekly assessments. The position will provide direction to the department while partnering with customers, operations, warehouse, accounting departments, purchasing agents and dispatchers.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Manage and refine the department's processes for customer requests for rentals or permits while providing expertise to each area of the business.Partner with the sales team to seamless execute high level customer and projectsPartner with the estimating team to ensure quoting matching job scopeLead pre-job meetings with customers and internal departments to ensure all action items and details are tracked and assigned by providing exceptional customer service.Ensure that all projects are delivered or serviced on time, within scope and within budgetEnsure and anticipate resource availability and allocation by communicating regularly with internal departments.Develop and maintain relationships with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projectsPartner with customers and cities to coordinate and secure permits as necessary and/or utilize internal permit departmentDevelop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and a safe work zoneDevelop a detailed project plan to track progress and costingAttend and participate in industry events.Review and share project performance with manager, sales, operations and other departmentsReport, resolve and escalate when appropriate, any customer or safety concernsManage and build relationships with the client and all stakeholdersAttend pre-job walks and post-job walksOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:3-5 years in the construction industry working directly within operations, sales, project management or estimationManagement and/or supervisor experience requiredProject management certification or equivalent strongly desiredStrong problem-solving skillsStrong Communication both verbal and writtenAbility to maintain pleasant and cheerful customer service demeanorPositive, can-do attitude in the face of adversityExtreme organizational skillsAbility to accurately maintain financial and inventory recordsAbility to work with various computer systemsAbility to work nights and weekends if neededAbility to multi-task and work in high stress environmentsAbility to foster teamwork in all areas of the businessBi-Lingual a plusAbility to work independentlyPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Moderate physical effort required to sit, stand at files, bend, stoop, lift, walk, and climb.Average lift is less than 10 lbs.Requires ability to use a keyboard and monitor.Light or low amount of physical exertion.Limited manual dexterity or physical manipulation.Minimal or low level of physical stamina and endurance.
