Project SuperintendentSunnyvale, CA 94089This is a full-time salary position; the compensation package will include both a health benefits and a retirement planWe are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead the field execution of commercial construction projects. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills who can deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. We are looking for ambitious, collaborative, and solution-oriented professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are dedicated to excellenceRESPONSIBILITIES:Implement and manage the on-site execution of job plans in coordination with the Project Manager and General SuperintendentOrganize and oversee project site logistics (e.g., signage, security, staging)Manage and update project schedules on a weekly basisCoordinate RFIs, submittals, and construction drawingsLead weekly subcontractor meetings and attend client/design partner meetingsPromote and enforce job site safety policies, creating and implementing safety plans in collaboration with the General SuperintendentConduct weekly safety meetings and proactively address safety issues on-siteMaintain detailed daily logs of subcontractor activities and project progress using project management software (e.g., Autodesk or Procore)Manage project scope and schedule changesEnsure compliance with company procedures to maintain safety, quality, and schedule commitmentsParticipate in punch walk meetings and project close-out processes.Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, and industry professionalsQUALIFICATIONS:Experience & SkillsAt least 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction (10 years preferred)Proven track record managing projects across various commercial marketsStrong understanding of commercial construction sequencing, drawings, and specificationsKnowledge of foundations, structural framing, MEP systems, and how systems interactFamiliarity with fire, sprinkler, alarm, and safety systemsExperience working in occupied Class A buildingsAbility to manage multiple smaller projects simultaneouslyStrong safety record and experience overseeing self-performed workAbility to work with urgency while maintaining high quality standardsExcellent communication (verbal and written) and leadership skillsProficiency in MS Office; Microsoft Project experience preferredExperience with field-based project management software, particularly Autodesk or Procore, is highly desirableEducation & CertificationsOSHA 30 preferred (or willing to obtain during training)LEED Green Associate accreditation or higher is a plusAssociate or Bachelor's degree preferredValid Driver's License requiredMandatory reference and background checks will be coordinated as part of the hiring process.HIB Visa sponsorship is not available for this specific position.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE AA M/F Vet/Disability)req25-00774
