Construction Superintendent

Job OverviewA Christian Construction Company looks to fill a position that manages the total supervision of the on-site operations, ensuring the workers implement the design plan. Sub-Contractor progress is reported to the President. A hands-on individual with a strong work ethic, who has integrity and a collaborative working style. Core competencies include good communication and strong analytical skills.Responsibilities and Duties· Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents · Monitoring performance of sub-contractors· Understanding of proper safety procedures and recognition of hazards · Manage the job schedule including foresighted scheduling that recognizes potential trade overlaps· Liaison between client, sub-contractors, vendors and inspectors· Submit daily progress reports with photos· Troubleshoot issues that arise on the job· Participate in Construction tasks where required· Monitor Quality· Additional duties as neededQualifications· High School Graduate, some college/trade school preferred· 5-year experience supervising construction projects· Experience using hand tools· Integrity, Can-do attitude, Personable· Climb ladders, go on roof, lift up to 50 lbs.
