Investment Analyst / Associate

We are recruiting for an Investment Analyst / Associate to join our team in Chicago. This employee will work collaboratively supporting the Outrigger team across the country in both investments/underwriting and investment management.Responsibilities are broad and directly impact key operations of the business.Your MissionSupport senior management of the Outrigger team in matters related to the successful operation of various business unitsCreate and manage underwriting models for prospective investments including analysis of debt and equity capitalization options and related returns and distribution waterfallsPrepare investment presentations and packages for institutions, investors, lenders, partners, and other constituentsCompile market research data on existing and proposed competing properties, sales, and leasing comparables, and other macro and micro market factors Assist with project entitlement processes and other applicable project approvalsCoordinate due diligence and closing relating to project specific requirements and CA's diligence checklist; coordinate lender and equity partner due diligence process/requestsReview performance of investments compared to initial underwritingAssist in future capital events including refinances, recapitalizations and dispositionsProfessionally represent Outrigger to the broader real estate community (ex. brokers, capital partners, and other service providers)Your Track RecordBachelor's Degree in related field, such as Business, Economics, Finance or Real EstateA minimum of 0-5 years' experience in commercial/industrial real estate development and/or real estate finance/investment bankingHigh proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and technical expertise with complex modeling Proficiency in Argus Enterprise is a plusYour StyleConfidence to work independently, yet within a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial environment requiredExcellent technical, analytical, organizational and communication skills requiredArticulate/polished communication skills (listening, verbal & written) requiredExcellent organizational skills including strong follow-through and multi-tasking skills within a fast-paced environment requiredHigh ethical standards and strong work ethic
