As a Financial Counselor, you will:Conduct patient interviews and make payment arrangementsFollow up on arrangements to ensure compliance with policies and proceduresInvestigate third-party payer coverage and confirm patient benefitsAssist patients and guarantors in account payment and resolution servicesDocument all calls, letters, and interviews in the patient's fileRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED required2+ years of Patient Access experience, ideally as a Benefit Advocate/Financial Counselor/Patient RegistrationStrong customer service and organizational skillsProficiency with Microsoft OfficeExcellent oral and written communication skills (English and Spanish speaking is preferred)Strong analytical and mathematical ability
