Motion Graphics Designer (Video Editor)

Job descriptionWe are seeking a Motion Graphics Designer/Video Editor to join our team in Irvine, CA. This role focuses on producing high-quality video content for corporate 1031 Crowdfunding business accounts, The Ed Fernandez Show podcast, and other brands within our umbrella of companies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure social media content is aligned with marketing objectives and company values. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with technical proficiency, capable of working in a fast-paced environment to produce engaging content optimized for performance across various platforms.ResponsibilitiesEdit high-quality video content for weekly podcast and other brand initiatives.Edit and enhance video clips for various social media platforms, ensuring high-quality visuals, audio, and overall production value.Film and produce high-quality video content for various platforms, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project objectives.Create and integrate animations, motion graphics, and visual effects to elevate video content and storytelling.Create and curate social media content (including graphics, videos, and written copy) across multiple platformsCreate engaging and compelling short-form video content from longer videos, interviews, events, or other sources, tailored to each social media platform's best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including marketing, design, and investor relations) to ensure social media content is aligned with company values and objectives.Work with the Director of Marketing to create social advertisements.QualificationsBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field or equivalent work experienceAdobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve experience preferred (or comparable software)Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCreative mindset with the ability to develop engaging contentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyThis is an in-office position within a professional workplace, and remote work is not an option.A portfolio is required for consideration; applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed.Pay Scale and Compensation Benefits:The Motion Graphics Designer position will be full-time, with a competitive salary range of $70k - $75k annually based on experience and qualifications.
