We're looking for an Operations Managerto oversee the day-to-day operationsof our Los Angeles studio. This role is all about ensuring the office runs smoothly, the environment is professional and welcoming, and employees have the tools, resources, and amenities they need to thrive.You'll manage the office, curate food and supplies, support HR processes, assist with payroll, and act as a reliable point of contact for staff and partners. The ideal candidate is local to Los Angeles, resourceful, and connected enough to make things happen quickly.You'll Work On:Running the LA office: managing facilities, supplies, water, food, and amenitiesMaintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming work environmentHandling employee needsworkstation setup, supplies, scheduling support, general assistanceManaging HR coordinationonboarding/offboarding, maintaining employee records, benefits supportAssisting with payroll coordinationin partnership with financeCoordinating office services and external vendors (IT vendors, cleaning, food, amenities, etc.)Organizing in-office meetings, company events, and team gatheringsActing as a professional representative of the studio when interacting with vendors, local partners, and guestsEnsuring smooth communication and day-to-day operational efficiencyRequirements:5+ years of experience in operations, office management, or HR coordinationStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities at onceHands-on experience with HR processes and payroll supportComfortable handling confidential employee and company informationProficiency with productivity software (Google Workspace, Slack, scheduling tools)Must be local to Los Angeles, with familiarity and connections in the cityBonus Points:Previous experience in game development, tech, or entertainment industryoperationsBackground managing vendor relationships and office logisticsExperience building positive in-office culture for hybrid/partially remote teamsPassion for soccer or sports culture is a plusThis is a critical studio roleyou'll make sure the office runs seamlessly, employees are supported, and day-to-day operations are always under control, freeing the dev team to focus fully on building the game.
