Director of Supply Chain

A late-stage biotech company developing gene therapies is looking to add a Director of Supply Chain to their growing team. In this role you will lead supply chain, planning, and logistics activities required to support the manufacture, testing, and distribution of autologous cell therapies. This position will be responsible for forecasting, procurement, and receipt of raw materials, consumables and reagents, inventory and warehouse management, plasmids/vector external supply coordination, demand and supply planning, shipping/logistics, and master scheduling. Acts as a liaison between the Manufacturing, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Clinical teams to ensure proper scheduling of product orders for receipt and processing, prepares and maintains the integrated production schedule for all cell culture activities and coordinates with all stakeholders to ensure orders are properly prepared and shipped according to customer requirements and all applicable regulations. Required Education/Experience:Bachelor's Degree in life science/engineering, business, management information systems, or supply chain, or equivalent relevant industrial experience.10 years of experience working in supply chain, planning, and logistics at a biotechnology or pharmaceutical products firm within a GMP setting.5 years of supervisory experience.cell & gene therapy experience
