Today, MPF and its related entities own and manage approximately $400 million in assets across the Bay Area.The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Director of Property Management to lead the operations, strategy, and performance of our diverse portfolio. This role oversees all aspects of property management, working closely with senior leadership to drive financial results, operational excellence, and resident satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and direction to the property management team, setting goals and ensuring portfolio performance.Develop and implement leasing, marketing, and property positioning strategies.Oversee annual budgets, monthly financials, and capital improvement planning.Ensure compliance with all legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements.Attend and represent MPF in legal proceedings as needed.Build strong relationships with investors, owners, city officials, vendors, and community partners.Mentor and train Regional Managers, Property Managers, and Associates, including hands-on support during training transitions.Collaborate with the Maintenance Department on operational procedures and preventative programs.Report regularly to senior leadership, owners, and investors on portfolio performance.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field (or equivalent experience).California Real Estate License, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.Minimum 7-10 years of progressive property management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.Proficiency in Yardi, RentCafe, and BlueMoon preferred.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.Why Join MPF?Established company with over 40 years of success in California real estate.Opportunity to shape and lead a growing property management team.Entrepreneurial, collaborative environment where your voice matters.Competitive benefits package.
