Senior Cost Controller

WTS Energy is looking for a Senior Cost Controller who will manage the cost control function. This involves monitoring the overall control of project activities & project forecasting. Requirements:Collect daily production data directly from the construction site to support accurate project monitoring.Review and update analysis of project activities, aligning actual performance with updated financial targets to proactively anticipate forecast adjustments.Prepare and deliver monthly reports to the Project Manager and Area Controller, ensuring timely communication of key performance metrics.Support financial decision-making by analyzing performance trends and providing actionable insights.Track project execution, comparing actual results against budgeted figures to identify significant variances and their root causes.Contribute to bid restructuring, budget preparation, and forecasting, following the approved WBS/WBE framework, under the guidance of the AFC Manager and in collaboration with the project team.Conduct cost analysis and performance simulations, using real data to optimize productivity, mitigate risks, and enhance overall project success.Perform all duties in alignment with Lane's core values and ethical standards.Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned to support project and organizational goals.Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience, with complexity depending on the Business UnitDemonstrated experience in budgeting and/or forecastingPrior experience in estimating and scheduling is considered a strong assetBackground in project management is preferredFamiliarity with ERP systems is advantageousExperience in the construction industry is requiredStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in ExcelExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesAre you a detail-driven professional with a sharp eye for numbers and a passion for delivering results on large-scale projects?
